About Blind Service Chicago's Fall Day 5K
The youth-led Blind Service Chicago NextGen Board is hosting a 5K walk to raise funds for the blind and low vision community on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. Join us we navigate the streets of our community from the Lincoln Park Zoo to the Drake Hotel, and back.
All donations help fund the youth programs at BSC. The BSC Pathways Summer Camp exposes blind and low vision youth to fun, educational, and challenging activities to inspire, empower, and grow confidence. The BSC Scholarship Program supports college education, increasing future employment opportunities. We, as a community, need to do the best we can to understand and support people who are blind and low vision by helping them thrive as individuals. Whether you are part of the blind, low vision, or sighted community, we hope you are able to walk with us on October 6.
Blind Service Chicago has compassionately served the blind and low vision community since 1924. Our mission is to create a world in which blind and low vision people stand equally with sighted people and are afforded abundant opportunities for success and happiness. You can make a difference by donating today to Blind Service Chicago. Thank you so much for supporting BSC!
